However, we do have somewhat different ideas about finances. This alarms me a little, because I know that we would benefit tremendously from seeing eye to eye about money and how to save/spend it.

My future wifey wants to save up primarily for land and a home. I want that too, but to a lesser extent.

One of my goals is to save up a large amount of funds for a hot rod. And, I should admit that I want to also have a nice bundle of cash saved up, just to have it in the bank. I want to have extra money saved up for whatever may happen in the future. If nothing ever happens, I want to just keep that portion of our money in the bank indefinately. It would give me peace of mind.

I **** to admit it, but money does give me security.

How can I fairly and lovingly negotiate with my wife about this important matter? She thinks that I am wanting to save too much money for no reason.

Kind of curious on how much debt the US goverment actually owes. I want to know how much debt the US goverment has right now and is planning to have in the furture. The baby boom generation retiring is only going to make matters worse and the rising costs in goods and services due to a declining US dollar is also a contributing factor. It concerns me that the future of American business will no longer be in the hands of Americans but sealed and stamped by those who hold our debts. China is only one country who holds our debts and they are not to blame in my opinion because they didn’t force Americans to buy their products and services and they only hold 10% of the overall debt America owes. So my question is how much money do we actually owe and if we owe more money than what is being reported by mainstream media then what is to come? Will we have to start selling states or what is it going take for the goverment to realize its errors?

they’re high school sweet heart, married over 10yrs and have a cute 11 yr old daughter, but they’re divorced.

he told me that his wife ( who got into college and had a white collar job, but he didn’t) thinks that she outearned him and he(worked blue collar jobs) doesn’t have insurances( health, retirement,etc.) and made him felt bad, that’s why they got divorced.

I’ve asked does money matters in marriage, and people told me not at all.

but how your marriage stays healthy if you have to worry about where the money for kids college come from, etc. and he has to work days and nites to make ends meet instead of spending time with you…. does money really matters in marriage???
